SE

The SE is the base trim level of the new Kona. With this model you'll get 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, a keyless entry system, wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, four USB charging ports, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen display. The base model has Hyundai's connected services, too. A variety of safety aids come with the base model, including a lane centering system, lane departure mitigation, blind-spot warning, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a rear seat reminder, and driver attention warning.

SEL

The second trim in the new Hyundai Kona lineup is the SEL. More features come with this trim, including dual-zone climate control, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and vents in the back row for air conditioning. The SEL has slightly larger 18-inch wheels and adds roof rails for more carrying capacity and a sportier look.

N Line

With the N Line you will get even larger 19-inch wheels along with unique sporty styling and a sunroof. The seats get an upgrade to microsuede trim, and the sound system is also upgraded to a Bose® with eight speakers. The N Line adds a wireless phone charger and a digital instrument panel to give you more technology, and the cabin has ambient interior lighting for a more upscale look. Integrated navigation and voice recognition come with the N Line, along with heated front seats. The N Line also has some additional safety aids such as intersection collision mitigation and adaptive cruise control. A different turbocharged engine powers the N Line.

Limited

The Limited tops the line for the new Hyundai Kona lineup. This trim has distinctive exterior styling, synthetic leather seats, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and even more safety aids, including a surround-view camera, backup camera, parking sensors, and an automated parking system.

Along with all the standard features you can get, the Kona also has a Convenience package available for the SEL trim. This comprehensive package adds ambient cabin lighting, heated front seats, more safety features, USB Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, navigation, a voice recognition system, and extended connected services based on a subscription.

Hyundai Kona Performance

Along with features and components, performance varies across the new Kona lineup. The first two trims have a 2.0-liter engine with four cylinders that produce 147 horsepower. With this engine comes an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

The top two trims have a stronger 1.6-liter turbo engine with four cylinders. Power output increases to 190 horsepower with this engine. An automatic transmission is also standard, but you can choose between front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
